Efforts are being made to set up central government institutions in Amaravati. Lands have been allotted to 10 to 15 central institutions and national banks in the capital region of Telugu Desam. It is estimated that construction of Amaravati will cost up to one lakh crores.అమరావతిలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థలు ఏర్పాటు చేసేలా ప్రయత్నాలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.తెలుగుదేశం హాయంలో 10 నుంచి 15 కేంద్ర సంస్థలకు, జాతీయ బ్యాంకులకు రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలో భూముల కేటాయించారు.అమరావతి నిర్మాణానికి లక్ష కోట్ల వరకు ఖర్చు అవుతుందని అంచనా.
